In order to place outbound calls, the Ring.io Web Phone needs access to your microphone. To verify Ring.io has access to your microphone, follow the steps below. We also recommend checking your system settings to verify microphone access is not being blocked.
1.) Click the 'kebab' icon in your browser and click settings.
2.) Click 'Privacy and Security'
3.) Click 'Site Settings'
4.) Under permissions, click 'Microphone'
5.) Under 'Allowed to use your microphone' locate the Ring.io Web Phone, click the arrow
6.) Verify that the microphone is always set to 'Allow'
