Do you need to warm transfer a call to an internal or external phone number? If so, this guide will walk you through warm transferring a call with the Ring.io Web Phone!
NOTE: A maximum of four parties can join a call. Caller(s) can disconnect from the call without the call being terminated.
1.) Click the 'Transfer' button in the Ring.io Web Phone. Calls can be transferred to an Internal or External number! To transfer the call to an Internal number, simply select the internal contact in the drop down list.
2.) To transfer the call to an External number, enter the destination phone number in the 'Transfer to' field.
3.) Click the Blue transfer button to transfer the call.
4.) The current line will be placed on Music on hold during the transfer process. To conference in the third party, click the 'Unhold' button.
5.) To cancel the transfer, click the 'Cancel Transfer' button.
