Ring.io offers user(s) the ability to configure a custom Caller ID number or the option to use RingLocal which will display the local area code of the callee (receiving party) to increase the number of prospects that answer the phone. When turning on, RingLocal, callees (receiving party) are 40% more likely to answer the call when they see a phone number with a local area code.
This guide will walk through configuring Outbound Caller ID from the Ring.io Web Phone.
1.) Open the Ring.io Web Phone
2.) To enter in a custom Caller ID number, click the 'Pencil' icon and enter in a phone number.
3.) To use a RingLocal number, simply click the drop down and select 'RingLocal'.
