This guide will walk you through adding and assigning a personal number to a user(s).
NOTE: An additional company phone number costs an extra $10.00/month. Personal phone numbers are free for each user.
What is a personal number?
In addition to your main number(s), you can assign individuals in the organization a personal Ring.io number which allows them to receive calls directly, without having callers to go through the main number.
Ring.io Personal Numbers are 'Direct Dial' in that they are designed to find an individual. This number can be used on business cards or personal emails.
How to find a personal number.
Your Ring.io account includes one Personal Number for each user at no extra cost, which can be a local USA number. An additional phone number costs an extra $10.00/month
1.) Log in to the Ring.io Admin Portal using your email address and password. To give a user a personal number click on the 'Users' tab of Administrator Control Panel and select the user.
2.) Click 'Select Ring.io Number'
3.) Enter the desired area code of the phone number.
4.) Choose a phone number from the results list.
5.) Click 'Use this number'
6.) A new personal number has now been assigned to the user! After making changes to the user, click 'Save Changes'
The Ring.io personal number can also be found in the Ring.io Web Phone Caller ID drop down.
